Where in the world are your viewers?
Here is a cool way to track where your traffic is coming from. Click on the below image and you’ll be taken to a site that shows where our traffic is coming from, mainly the US, Canada and the UK, then you can get the code they give you to paste into any site, a myspace profile, a blog, a website.
The key to putting it on your website is to put it in the style sheet. What that means is that it will be a part of every single page on your site. If you scroll down and look on the right, you’ll see it on our page. This is obviously better because you never know what page somebody might enter on your site, and this way, your tracking them regardless.
If your site doesn’t use a style sheet, you should strongly consider that. We use wordpress, we’ll post a more complete tutorial about how we push wordpress to make it do what we want, just have to wait until there is time. But there are tons of resources online, just search google for wordpress. Also search for podpress, another good tool for building a site similar to ours.
