So if you never made it to a screening to see our film, or there wasn’t one where you live, or you just want to show our film to friends, here is your chance to become a proud owner of our DVD.

So what is on this DVD? Over 3 and half hours of material. The film is 70 minutes, Episodes 1 to 8 of the video podcast are 63 minutes, all of the news updates and early rare video blogs are 60 minutes, both trailers, and we even included both our net neutrality videos which total 15 minutes.
The DVDs are shipping latter this month and those who order right away will actually get their copy of the DVD a few days before the official ship date.
Then, if you want to be included in a video podcast news update we make to promote the DVD, send us pictures or even video of you getting the DVD from your mail box and adding it to your shelf of DVDs. Also anything else you can think of that could be interesting would be great too, like maybe invite some friends over to see the film with you, shoot some footage of that and ask them on video what they thought of the film afterwards. Whatever you’d like. Check out our tutorial on uploading video to youtube. In the tutorial it talks about how to add “tags” to your video. So Tag videos on youtube with “Four Eyed Monsters DVD” so we’ll find them and include them in our edit as well as on our site in their entirety.
Another cool thing about the way we are releasing our DVD:
Because we are self distributing our DVD right now all of the proceeds go to our $81,000 credit card debt we are in from making the film and after that’s paid off it will go towards us continuing to make more video podcast episodes and hopefully a second feature film. So we may get our DVD eventually into Netflix and Amazon but for several months it will only be available here on our site because that way 100 percent of the proceeds go to us. So if this works then we’ll be helping prove that filmmakers don’t need any middle men, they can just make the films they want to make, build an audience online and support their filmmaking by self distributing to theaters, DVD and downloads.
So no pressure, but hey, if you want to see our film, the best way to do that right now is picking up the dvd?
