IFC TV Survey
We are doing some research about the Independent Film Channel (IFC TV) trying get funding for the next batch of episodes as well as find a way that works for everyone involved to get our feature film onto TV. So it would be really cool if people could help us out and answer these questions:
Thank you so much for doing the survey, and if you have any other general comments about IFC TV, the survey, or the issue of not posting episodes fast enough please post a comment below.
Thanks a ton for being part of the project,
Arin & Susan
PS. If you were just getting started and want another survey, check out our Sundance Channel Survey.

I was absolutely hooked for the first 5 or so podcasts. I lost interest when they were delayed and became news updates. I’m still psyched for the film and your effort to get new venues.

I can’t wait to see your movie, but I suck and I’m not buying the DVD until I see the movie in one of our theaters. I like your podcasts and I’m willing to take what I get.
I’ve also never heard of IFC TV :/

I have IFC and would definitely watch the podcasts and the movies on it…and tell others…even though I do now own the DVD! I loved it btw!

Always treasured your podcasts, the delays between newest episodes lately has made me forget to take interest in looking you guys up, I used to watch every day, waiting for news, passionately. I’m sure episode 9 is a gem. Hope to see FEM soon.

I was lucky enough to be able to see the film in Fort Lauderdale at Cinema Paradiso and enjoyed it alot. I miss the podcasts and I think it would be a great thing for you guys to be able to showcase your work on IFC TV. I miss the podcasts and I’m just anticipating the next one, each one is a piece of art and I respect that amount of time it takes to create it before you guys release and share with the rest of us. Much love to you both Arin & Susan….from Miami.

I hope IFC picks up all things Four Eyed Monsters. And hopefully they’ll back your future projects too.

I would love to see the full length movie on IFC TV but unfortunately I don’t get the channel. I’m sure I could track someone down and take over their TV so I could watch it. I’m addicted to your podcasts too. Thanks so much!

Like many others, I too was addicted to the podcasts at first. I would check for a new one everyday, waiting for the story to unfold. The delay has finally killed all suspense and I often forget about you guys and tire of always just getting news. I understand that its a very time and energy consuming process to do everything that you need to do right now, so don’t feel bad that this has happened. I still would love to see your film and any new podcasts. If at some point you have the chance to produce them more regularly again, I can see myself falling right back into the addiction.
Also, I would love to see you guys on IFC! I would definately tell my friends to check it out.

Greeting FEM producers,
I just want to congratulate you in your efforts toward the next phase of the FEM phenomenon! Although I have grown admittedly weary of the long struggle to see mass distribution of the FEM film, I am nonetheless sympathetic to your continued efforts to spread the film en mass.
Although surveys are much like statistics (and we all know how statistics were characterized by Mark Twain: ‘There are 3 kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics!’) they do allow us viewers a unique opportunity to demonstrate emotions surrounding a work of art. Your work of art and the tribulations in sharing your work in a broad context, give insight to those of us that might undertake such a complex task. For those at IFC confronted with selecting content, regardless of the survey, I hope you acknowledge the powerful story behind the making of the story that makes FEM a worth project to air.

I do hope for more regular appearance of the podcast episodes once you are done editing them. As a filmmaker myself, I understand how hard it is and how perfect you want your videos to be before you let the eyes of the public peer over them, but waiting too long also loses people’s interest and I’d be grateful to see anything at this point.

The only way I could watch the episode would be via IFC. I would LOVE to see them and the movie. I’ve heard SO much about it. PLease, please, please find a way to bring it to TV!!!!!
